Carnac’s five beaches are a joy for young and old alike with their golden sand, gentle slopes and clear, invigorating water. The unspoilt Carnac coastline is an outstanding example of natural heritage. The evocative names of the beaches – Légenèse, Ti Bihan, Men Du, St Colomban and Grande Plage – conjure up images of peace and relaxation. There are supervised swimming areas at Grande Plage and St Colomban during the summer season. Carnac offers swimming access for all – its beaches have been awarded the “Tourism and Disability” label.
